Talk/Panel: Industrial AI – Responsible AI – Trends in Trust, Fairness, Bias, Robustness in AI & ML, 1st Digital Ethics Conference, Bonn, 13th of March 2019

#ResponsibleAI as the responsible use of #AI technology was indeed a big topic at the interdisciplinary setup of the 1st #DigitalEthics Conference in collaboration with the 1st #CyberSecurity Tech Summit in Bonn. Honored to share some thoughts on „Industrial AI – Responsible AI: Recent Trends in Trust, Fairness, Bias, Robustness in AI & Machine Learning.“ AI is used to within industrial environments to enable smarter decisions and to improve performance and precision, though, with the thrilling speed #digitalization, #connectivity, and its associated #algorithm-dominated eco-systems, we shall consider #principals and #guidelines we are willing to negotiate on the decision how to resolve a conflict of interest under the conditions of shared proposes and values. #Security, #Trust, and #Responsibility have always been hallmarks of the European market and its Industrial AI Ecosystem, those values will become even more important in the entire lifecycle of AI-related products and processes. We should not only focus on #Technology (What is feasable?), #Business (What is valuable?), but also #Society (What is desirable?). AI solutions are based on a powerful set of technologies and create multifold benefits – if used responsibly #ResponsibleAI #RAI Thanks Manuela MackertKenza Ait Si AbbouReinhard KargerEduard SingerStephan GrabmeierBernd „Benno“ BlumoserJulia GottfriedsenMelinda Lohmann
